PWC Super Final 2013
We won! The PWC Super Final will now take place in Governador Valadares, from 14 to 25 January.
It was originally intended to hold the competition in the nearby town of Baixo Guandu. Unfortunately, that area has been affected by some of the worst flooding since records began.Thousands of people have been made homeless and many have died. The infrastructure has been badly damaged in many places. My heart goes out to those who have lost so much and those who continue to suffer. I hope life returns to some semblance of normality soon.
There is a lot to be done in the next two weeks and a lot of people in Valadares are already working hard to ensure that the PWC Super Final is a huge success. The weather has been great for the past week and the forecast looks very promising. Let’s hope the forecast is correct and they have a fantastic competition.
Vencemos! A PWC Super Final ocorrerá em Governador Valadares, de 14 a 25 de janeiro.
A competição iria ocorrer na cidade de Baixo Guandu. Infelizmente, essa área foi afetada por uma das piores enchentes já registradas. Milhares de pessoas ficaram desabrigadas e muitos morreram. A infraestrutura foi danificada em muitos lugares. Meus sentimentos vão para aqueles que perderam tudo e aqueles que continuam a sofrer com os problemas ocorridos. Eu espero que as coisas melhorem em breve.
Há muito a ser feito nas próximas duas semanas e varias pessoas em Valadares já estão trabalhando duro para garantir que a PWC Super Final seja um enorme sucesso. O tempo tem estado ótimo nessa última semana e aprevisão está ótima para as próximas semanas. Vamos torcer para que a previsão esteja correta e que todos tenham uma excelente competição.
